Tucson artist, entrepreneur and graphic designer Julie Bonner has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil. As a kid in Binghamton, New York, Julie crafted handmade greeting cards, as a student she painted a mural for her middle school (still on display!), and in high school took on her first freelance job designing a logo for a local pizza place. For the past 20 years she’s made the desert her home, opening her creative studio Julie Originals and designing her Addy Award-winning Desert Dwellers Flash Cards. Still an avid artist, Julie also works as Communications Director for FreeFall Aerospace, which develops intelligent antenna systems for use in space.
