Josie Rios is a tribal member of the Akimel O'odham / Gila River Indian Community, and the beading artist of Beads over Diamonds. As a Tucson-based maker she is influenced by the many colors of the city's desert surroundings, its famous sunsets, and memories of growing up in Tucson.
