J. Rios is a member of the Akimel O'odham / Gila River Indian Community, and the beading artist of Beads over Diamonds. A Tucson-based maker, she is influenced by the many colors of the city's desert surroundings, its famous sunsets, and the memories of growing up in Tucson.
