A born and bred Tucsonan, Anita Goodrich started Bottle Rocket Design with the goal of repurposing materials otherwise destined for the landfill. After dropping out of college Anita took a hands-on approach to learning construction and metalworking, and one day found herself with a bag of cement and an idea. Now a family affair, Bottle Rocket Design creates all manner of sturdy concrete and glass items, from candles and bowls to tables and countertops. Concrete pieces are crafted using a hand-made mix - composed of more than 70% crushed reclaimed glass - and can often be reused or repurposed, keeping them out of the landfill for even longer!
