Heart of an Astronaut’s Shannon Belock is a multi-disciplinary artist who works in everything from fiber and fabric to murals and printwork to animation. Born in Tucson, in 2011 she “followed a dumb boy to Chicago,” where she stayed to earn her BFA from SAIC. Shannon now lives in Truth or Consequences, NM where she creates art inspired by health, humor, happiness, and her true love: the desert.
